Oh Woe is Me!

Our beloved ranch in Texas is completely flooded, we don't know the exact condition of our property, but a dear neighbor friend has sent us a cell phone picture taken as close as she could get.

We are a little further back than from where the road recedes
and disappears, that will makes us completely under water...

My precious home will not be as it was when I return...

The Prado, Madrid Spain

Sparrows on the steps of the Prada Museum in Madrid, Spain.

Both of my aging parents fell ill recently, and I had to make a trip back to Texas to care for them.  I also had developed a "horseshoe tear" and a detached retina in my right eye, so I have been gone for quite some time.  Being advised not to strain my eyes, my work with my photographs has sat waiting, and my other projects as well have been neglected.    I have done all that I can to help my parents, and I have gotten the tear, and the second one that developed later also treated with laser surgery, in fact, now so many times the back of my eye must look like a quilt.  Recovery is coming along for all of us, and now it is time to get back to my writing.

So here are a few photos from the outside of the beautiful Prado Museum of Madrid, Spain, I hope you enjoy them!
