This is a Great German Woman, She Lives on the Edge

This woman is a dear friend of Randy and I. She has lived and worked in Iraq. She knows very well the situation and suffering there. Pray for her, she has a heart for the Iraqi people, and the will and courage to help them. She was our first house guest after we moved to Germany. She is originally from Germany.

Families in Paris on a Hot Summer Day

 

Awe and Wonder

We went to Paris to celebrate our upcoming wedding anniversary, and I could not take in all that was around me, there were so many wonders to see.  The people of Paris fascinated me in particular.  Paris broke records the weekend of the 4th of July when we visited with a temperature outside of 102!  It was amazing to see some of the places I have always wanted to see, and even though the temperatures were almost unbearable, the people of Paris were out enjoying the day.  In particular I loved watching a beautiful young bride have wedding photos made in front of the Eiffel Tower.

From afar I saw the shoot taking place, and I could not wait to get 

close enough to take photos of them taking photos!
